BlackRock Launches Bitcoin ETP for U.K. Retail Market.
BlackRock debuted its iShares Bitcoin ETP on the London Stock Exchange Monday, marking the asset manager’s first crypto product available to U.K. retail investors. The exchange-traded product began trading following the Financial Conduct Authority’s decision to ease restrictions on crypto investment vehicles. The iShares Bitcoin ETP allows U.K.-based retail investors to gain Bitcoin exposure without directly holding the asset or trading on crypto exchanges.
