We are thrilled to share that the Bilu Huang Aging Institute has entered into a new partnership with Fundación Longenia, a remarkable non-profit foundation based in the sun-drenched Canary Islands, Spain.
Led by Chairman Cayetano Santana Gil, Fundación Longenia was established with a visionary purpose: to advance scientific research that extends longevity and protects humanity from the ravages of biological aging. Their dedication to rigorous, translational science mirrors our own.
At Bilu Huang Aging Institute, our work is rooted in the TRCS cellular aging model—a framework built by our founder Bilu Huang over 30 years of deep exploration into the biology of aging. It is designed to reveal aging mechanisms from first principles and, based on that foundational understanding, develop biotechnologies that can reverse cellular aging and dramatically extend the human lifespan.
In Fundación Longenia, we have found kindred spirits who share this bold ambition.
But this partnership is about more than shared scientific goals. It is also a cultural bridge.
By connecting Hong Kong—a dynamic gateway between East and West—with the Canary Islands, a crossroads of cultures and home to unique Blue Zone insights, we create an opportunity to exchange and celebrate longevity wisdom from both regions. From Mediterranean diets to Eastern holistic practices, from ocean-inspired lifestyles to cutting-edge biomedical research, we believe the best science is enriched by the diversity of human experience.
Together, we will work to accelerate the reversal of aging through precision science—and to ensure that the knowledge we gain flows freely across continents and cultures.
Gracias, Fundación Longenia. We are honored to walk this path with you.
