Tarek M. Ben Lechhab · Tarek's Corner

In order to pursue my indie dream, and because we've decided as a family to move countries, I quit my day job almost 3 months ago.

Since then, I've been working: making my own apps, posting on social media, writing on Substack, and trying to find freelancing gigs.

I wasn't satisfied with this last part. It turns out that what many freelancers do today is just getting a disguised 9 to 5 job but with a different contract.

While there's nothing wrong with that if that's what one is looking for, this is not how I view freelancing myself.

I view freelancing as a kind of engineer that is able to come and help any individual or company.

I want to help my clients bring their ideas to life.

Benefiting from my experience and knowledge not only in technical areas, but also in the app market, ASO, Apple's Human Interface Guidelines, and the latest and greatest from Swift and the Apple Development world.

Of course, that doesn't mean that I just make a few views, and then you don't hear from me anymore. It's just that we collaborate on a project to maximize chances of success, rather than me being a subordinate.

Another aspect that has significant impact on me today is building with AI:

I really think we're witnessing a shift in how we build software today.

Leaving vibe-coding jokes aside, there are tremendous opportunities for established software engineers in taking advantage of LLMs capabilities to write code, learn, reason, pair-program, and take care of the time-consuming tasks.

It's a golden age of coding with AI, there is a flurry of tools and apps that are competing for the top spot.

As a consequence, the cost of software is significantly going down. First, I want to enable everyone to benefit from those cost savings, and while doing so, I hope I'll find my (financial) place in this new world.

This is why I've been thinking and building something unique.

Something that combines all of this together.

Something that allows anybody to with an idea to build an MVP, for an insanely great price.

Something that will bring me a steady stream of clients and fresh ideas and keep me excited and motivated, doing what I like to do ever since the iPhone came out: make apps.

That's how SwiftSwiftApps.com was born.

Swift Swift Apps is me, selling my services as a single product.

A flat $499 fee to build an app in at most 14 days. And trust me, there's a lot I can do in 14 days.

Here's what you get for that flat $499:

  • A fully functional iOS or macOS MVP

  • Native Swift code that's actually maintainable (yes, even though it's built fast)

  • Clean, modern UI that follows Apple's Human Interface Guidelines

  • Complete source code handover

  • And here's the kicker: guaranteed delivery within 3 to 14 days

No hourly billing. No budget surprises. No account managers. Just direct communication with me, the developer building your app.

You might be thinking: "This sounds too good to be true."

Here's the thing: I'm not trying to hide anything. I'm transparent about how I work: I leverage AI tools extensively.

But here's what makes the difference: I have 15+ years of experience (12 as a professional developer at top companies like OVHCloud and Proton Mail).

AI helps me write code faster, but my experience ensures:

  • The architecture is solid

  • The code is maintainable (both for humans AND AI assistants)

  • The app follows best practices

  • It actually gets approved on the App Store

Think of it this way: AI is my productivity multiplier, but my experience is the wisdom that guides it.

This offer is perfect if you:

  • Have an app idea you want to validate quickly

  • Need an MVP to show investors or early users

  • Want to test the waters without breaking the bank

  • Are tired of lengthy development cycles and endless meetings

  • You tell me?

I made it as simple as can be:

  1. Discovery Call - We chat for 15-30 minutes. I'll be honest if your project isn't a good fit.

  2. Payment & Requirements - Once we agree, you pay the $499 and we gather all the requirements.

  3. I Build - Using Swift, AI, and my decade+ of experience, I craft your app.

  4. Delivery - You get the complete source code, a final call where we go through the app, and you're ready for the App Store.

My availability is limited. I can only take on so many projects while maintaining quality. And honestly? At this price point, I don't know how long I can keep this offer going.

This is my introductory rate while I validate this new business model. Once I have a steady stream of clients and testimonials, prices will likely go up.

I've been making apps since the iPhone came out. I've shipped dozens of apps, worked at top companies, and now I'm combining all that experience with the power of AI to help you bring your ideas to life.

If you have an iOS or macOS app idea that's been sitting in your head, now's the time to make it real.

Visit Swift Swift Apps to book your free discovery call. No sales pressure, just an honest conversation about whether your project is a good fit.

The future of app development is here. It's fast, it's affordable, and it's ready when you are.

Let's ship your app. Swiftly.

Thanks for reading AI-Augmented Swift Indies! This post is public so feel free to share it.

P.S. - Still skeptical? I get it. That's why the discovery call is free. Let's talk about your idea, and I'll be completely transparent about what's possible within the scope of this offer. You've got nothing to lose and potentially an amazing app to gain.
