Bill Heath · One Foot in the Gravy

The leadership of the Democrat Party has been continuously driving a drumbeat of accusations against President Trump: Nazi, Racist, Homophobe, Russian Stooge, he’ll never allow someone else to succeed him, he’ll use the military against the citizenry, he will round up and jail his political opponents, that he is a Fascist, and the list goes on. The one that is most often leveled against him is Fascist. I have found few people who can define Fascism, so I decided to go to . . . wait for it . . . a dictionary.

Fascism : a populist political philosophy, movement, or regime (such as that of the Fascisti) that exalts nation and often race above the individual, that is associated with a centralized autocratic government headed by a dictatorial leader, and that is characterized by severe economic and social regimentation and by forcible suppression of opposition

At the core of fascism is loyalty to tribe, ethnic identity, religion, tradition, or, in a word, nation.—Jason Stanley

There are differences between Italian Fascism, German Nazism, and their various nationalist descendants.—Josh Jones

broadly : a philosophy or system with some combination of fascist values and governing structures

Take away colonialism and you still have … Balkan fascism …—Umberto Eco

A tendency toward or actual exercise of strong autocratic or dictatorial control

The early instances of army fascism and brutality are typical …—Jason Watson Aldridge

Call it "soft fascism": a political system that aims to stamp out dissent and seize control of every major aspect of a country's political and social life, without needing to resort to "hard" measures like banning elections …—Zach Beauchamp

—often used informally in an exaggerated way

Like the city's ban on the use of trans fats and draconian restrictions on smoking, the new soda regulations are … yet another installment of what Jonah Goldberg rightly termed "liberal fascism."

A governmental system led by a dictator having complete power, forcibly suppressing opposition and criticism, regimenting all industry, commerce, etc., and emphasizing an aggressive nationalism and often racism.

A reading of Beauchamp and the Dictionary.com definition yields a fairly accurate description of the Biden Administration. The suppressing opposition is seen in the lawfare launched by a weaponized Justice Department. Suppressing criticism is seen in the government’s secret use of pressure on social media, plus the nearly monomaniacal unity of the mainstream media. You may wonder where the racism is. It’s hiding in plain sight.

Biden has seen two things that few others have discerned: widespread white racism, claiming whites are almost universally race supremacist, and transsexuals around every corner and hiding behind every potted plant. The latter are real, merely very very rare.
