Canberra! Sydney! Melbourne! EVERYONE!

Good afternoon, Tribe.

I have a quick favour to ask all my Aussie readers.

Oz Comic Con is coming to my home city of Canberra in just a few weeks. I’ve reached out to them a couple times over the last few years to try to get on their Guest List, with no luck.

My entire comic book creating career, I’ve been trying to get on the guest list of Aussie cons, but no matter who I talk to or who I reach out to, that coveted guest position has always been out of my grasp.

So, before I give up, I thought I’d see if I can get my readers on board.

I noticed on the Oz Comic Con website that they have a Guest Suggestion Form for... well... suggesting guests for their shows. So, if you have a minute, I would much appreciate if you could hit up the Guest Suggestion Form and pimp me to the organisers.

This might help:

  • Which celebrity would you like to see/meet at Oz Comic-Con? Big Tim Stiles

  • Which shows/media have you most enjoyed watching this person in? This would be a good place to mention that I’m an independent comic book writer who’s fan-favourite series GORILLA MY DREAMS has won multiple awards around the world including the Australasian Shadows Award for BEST GRAPHIC NOVEL, and who’s new horror series MASTIFF won BEST WRITTEN WORK (Non Screen Play) at the Scream Queen Film Festival in New Orleans, and is in negotiations to be made into a feature film. Or something along those lines. Hahaha.

If you could spare a minute to pimp me out, that would be awesome. And if you aren’t in a capital city of Australia, all I can say is, I most definitely DO NOT recommend you tell them you are 😁

I’ve been friends with Camillo Di Pietrantonio years and believe me when I say he is the sweetest guy in Australian comics. We bonded over the TMNT and X-Men and have become like brothers.

I was lucky enough to have a sneak peek at this book leading up to this launch, and it is REALLY COOL! I am a HUGE fan of AXL and can’t wait to get the final comic in my hands.

AXL is the TMNT / Weapon-X mash-up us 90’s kids have been hoping for, and even my daughter loves this book.
