I’ve never known the places writing will take me. That was kind of the interest in it from the beginning. Stemming from a journal entry in high school, talking about some trip my friends and I went on, I started to see how powerfully insightful writing on my own could be, for the understanding of myself and the interpretations of the world and relationships as I saw them. While the understanding of myself and the world at large have consistently shifted, sometimes with the slowness of a mountain rising, other times like earthquakes, the love and challenge of writing has remained the same. It is a way into the world I cherish deeply. Given the freedom to write, it has and continues to bring me deeper into the world, either to share with others or to understand myself. I cannot be more grateful that I can write, that I am able to write with little blocks, and that others, however many, care to read anything I write at all. Truly, I am grateful.
I’ll leave it at that for now. I’d rather you all check out the two pieces I had published this week.
Links To New Articles:
First, for the Bay Area Current, I attended a recent Tech Week event on creating responsible tech, and was left confused.
Second, for the Oakland Review of Book, I walked down to my favorite area of Reinhardt Redwood Regional Park to talk about ladybugs and fall.
Also Would love to hear everyone’s thoughts on this writing, and would LOVE to hear what things you would be interested in seeing me write about in the future. And please share and comment here on these stories and the newsletter!
Thanks for reading All The Big Little Things!
That’s it for now. Enjoy the rest of Sunday, wherever you are.
