After a short dip in the Sorraia river, we joined a national road, then later explored an old railway line that had been converted into an ecotrail, the Ecopista do Ramal de Mora, which connects Mora to Évora. After a dark and quick visit to Évora’s Roman Temple, we were back on another ecopista (Ecopista de Reguengos - Évora to Reguengos de Monsaraz) and finished our day at the old Machede train station, where we camped in the company of some owls.
