I really enjoyed reading Dominion by Tom Holland at the start of the year. It's a look at the history of Christianity and its influence on the western world. As far as I know Tom would probably say he is culturally a Christian but doesn't believe there is a God (while also hoping there is?).

I've really been enjoying Paul: A Biography by NT Wright. It's been my first deep dive into the culture surrounding the Bible and it has been both eye-opening and fascinating.

In fiction, the Licanus-trilogy has been one of my favourites. While not sure if the author is a Christian, I can see some biblical themes and he weaves an intriguing narrative with time-travel, religion, fantasy and free will.

I've had a digital copy of Paul: A Biography for a while and been meaning to read it but I keep neglecting it due to more pressing books! I am a fan of NT Wright's historical insights into first century judaism and roman culture too. I might have to finally dive in!

I hadn't heard of the Licanus triology. I'll investigate.
