Christians don’t need more health trends; we need Biblical clarity. Bible Health isn’t about perfect diets or complicated protocols. It’s about honoring God with the body He gave you. If that feels right to you, come join us.

Hey y’all, and happy Monday.

A month ago we posted a single Note — no big rollout, no plan behind it: we have seven children, and we refuse to apologize for a single one. We did not expect it to go anywhere. Grab your matcha latte, because it became the first thing we’ve written on Substack that went viral, and what happened next is worth telling you about.

Dr. Z here.

Most of what came back was beautiful. Comments from families who felt permission to stop shrinking their own convictions, moms who said they had never seen anyone name what they had felt for years, strangers who simply said thank you.

But as the Note reached further, the accusations followed too: selfish, irresponsible, too old, bad for the planet, a burden on society. Somewhere in reading through all of it, we realized the pushback was never really about the number seven. It was about something much bigger, who gets to decide what a good life looks like.

We are not telling every family to have seven children. We never have been. We are saying we will not apologize for welcoming ours as a blessing from God, and that a culture calling children a burden will always be unsettled by a family that calls them a heritage.

That same conviction is what built the Bible Health Vault, every paid deep dive, every piece of research we hand you each week. It all starts here, with refusing to let the world define what God has already called good.

Can you relate?

Maybe not to seven kids. But to the reflex, the apology that starts forming in your mouth before anyone even asked you to explain yourself, for a marriage you are keeping, a home you are building, a career you turned down, a Sabbath you actually took.

“Behold, children are a heritage from the LORD, the fruit of the womb a reward. Like arrows in the hand of a warrior are the children of one’s youth. Blessed is the man who fills his quiver with them.” — Psalm 127:3-5

Heritage. Reward. Arrows in the hand of a warrior.

That is not the language of burden, and it was never meant to apply only to family size.

Whatever God has called good in your life, a marriage, a sacrifice, an act of obedience, His Word already named it before the world ever got the chance to rename it into something you owe an explanation for.

We wrote out the whole thing below: the comfort gospel we picked up without noticing, the enemy’s strategy of renaming a blessing until people resent it, and what any of this has to do with your health.

If a single Note stirred up this much conversation, the article underneath it will stir up more.

Here is a word for your Monday before we get into everything else we published since Manna #12…

“For am I now seeking the approval of man, or of God? Or am I trying to please man? If I were still trying to please man, I would not be a servant of Christ.” — Galatians 1:10

Paul wrote that line defending his apostleship, but the test underneath it never expired: whose approval are you actually working for?

The comfort gospel is not the only false gospel handing out apologies.

There is a whole crowd of them, and every one of them wants your conviction to feel negotiable.

Notice Paul does not soften the choice. You are either still trying to please people or you are a servant of Christ. Those two postures cannot share a body.

The apology reflex we named below, the one that starts forming before anyone even asks, is usually the sound of us trying to hold both at once.

So this week, notice where you flinch before you explain yourself, and ask who you were actually bracing for.

Then let the answer be God, and let that be enough.
