Hello and welcome to another Monday.
What would it take for you to change? How would you go about changing the most fundamentally challenging parts of yourself?
As for me, I have used a lot of different modalities, and I’m sure you have, too.
Therapy — duh. But how many kinds of therapy have I tried? A lot! Psychoanalysis, somatic, energetic, spiritual, trauma-based... What about meditation? Yes! I’ve tried that, too. I haven’t found my “forever” meditation style or practice, though. I’m still working on that.
What about diet? How many of us have tried to eat “right” — more protein, less fat, less processed foods, more raw foods — there are so many ways to change what we put into our bodies. And exercise: which regimen will fix me and heal me?! Pilates, yoga, hot yoga, yin yoga, running, lifting weights, taekwondo... I’ve tried a lot of ways.
Ultimately, change is cumulative, I think. It’s a lot of things we do all combining together. Very few of us have a BOOM! Experience. Our guest this week did.
He had the ultimate BOOM! experience. He died, and he watched his body from above being resuscitated. He saw people grieving over him. But he was in a place where he was no longer suffering. He gained a profound understanding of his life’s journey: the pain, the trauma, the loss, and the suffering.
And then he came back. David Williamson is someone you need to see to believe. His change may change you. It changed me just listening to him and witnessing his growth and his humor and his insight.
I left this episode believing anything is possible. Change is possible. I hope you agree.
Have a great week, everyone. Thanks for being here.

We’ve all hit that afternoon slump. At 3 PM, you pushed your caffeine intake too far and are crashing harder than expected. Guess what? You might not be using caffeine effectively and are just chasing energy instead of managing it! Turns out, caffeine doesn’t actually give you energy — it mutes the signal that tells you you’re tired. Underneath, the fatigue is still building. You just can’t hear it. When it wears off, it all comes back at once. That’s the crash.
LMNT’s new Lemonade Iced Tea will help you find your sweet spot, so you are sharp and clear, not wired. Your body produces energy through a process that runs on electrolytes, not caffeine. If you’re depleted, no amount of coffee fixes that. You’re just masking it. Isolated caffeine — the kind in most energy drinks — hits harder and drops faster because there’s nothing in it to smooth the curve. Tea works differently. The caffeine comes bundled with L-theanine and polyphenols — the way it exists in the plant. That’s what gives you a noticeably steadier feeling. Less spike, less drop.
LMNT Lemonade Iced Tea uses a full black tea extract — not isolated caffeine — plus a meaningful dose of electrolytes, free of sugar, artificial colors, or other dodgy ingredients. It’s built on the same formula as LMNT’s core drink mix: sodium, potassium, and magnesium at levels shown to support optimal hydration. The result is a noticeably steadier feeling — less spike, less drop — without the crash that comes from most caffeinated drinks.
