I’ve been fond of this tree near my apartment since, several years ago, it made me stop and wonder: what kind of tree is that? This spring I made an effort to follow its bloom, spending time with it in the early morning and late afternoon, to get in close and really feel its beauty, and to share that feeling with you.
The redbud offers some tutorial on fashion I’ve yet to fully understand, though I think it might be something about brazen understatement.
