After working from home for most of January, for the past two weeks I’ve been commuting to the EnergySage office in downtown Boston. On the first day back I realized that I had “fresh eyes” for the city, which turned into momentum and anticipation for practicing, and some excitement to share the results.
February 3, walking to the T after my first day back in the office. Last year, after visiting London, I commented on how drab Boston’s buildings were in comparison. That glow, though.
February 11, in front of the building where I work. A benefit of a regular commute is the possibility to revisit scenes; this is my second attempt at capturing this reflection, with more vivid light.
February 4, just outside the office. Besides the light, I love the interplay of the bricks and windows.
February 12, from the window next to my desk. This is the same building as the previous photo, and a little reward for working later than usual.
February 4, outside the Porter Square T station. As with most of these photos, if I’d been riding my bike, I might have noticed this scene, but probably wouldn’t have paused to capture it.
