Every so often, I think about my future after caregiving.
It doesn’t happen much because I’m normally laser-focused on caring for my care partner each day. But in those quiet moments, when I’m thinking about how much caregiving has replaced who I am, I think about… what’s next… after caregiving. I don’t stay here very long, because it’s such a scary space for me. But some care partners are either approaching this space or already in it.
So, I’ve captured a few posts below that explore that topic, and I thought I’d share them with you.

I know this might be a tough question to ask, but all care partners face this question. It doesn’t have to imply death. It could also imply someone taking over your caregiving responsibilities.
I thought it was courageous of Lindsay to bring it up and share.
