Firstly, please accept my apologies for the late arrival of this video.
May turned out to be a very busy month for me work wise, taking me up and down the country for installation work. On top of that we are mid way through replacing the entire downstairs floor of our house, my husband does all the handy work around here so it has meant weeks with no kitchen or living room.
Suffice to say, things have been just a little challenging on all levels.
June looks much calmer and I am really looking forward to getting back into a routine - and also for the rain that is scheduled to be with us all week.
I have decided that May is possibly my favourite month in the garden (and along the hedgerows/road side verges). I will be so sad to say goodbye to it. Here’s a video showing you the very best of my garden from the last month before we slip into Summer proper.
The light is incredible during this month and all the plants still have that exquisite, airy feel to them. Everything feels wafty and fairytale-esque.
I love a bit of magic and May brings it in bucket loads.
A few plants that I mention in this tour of my garden are below:
Silene Fimbriata
Comfrey Hidcock Pink
Campanula white bells
