These three comics have nothing to do with each other other than, I made them all last week. One thing I’ve had to promise myself to get myself drawing, was that I would just work with whatever half baked idea came up. The banana cartoon is an example of that. I’m not thrilled about the comic itself, but it’s an idea I find interesting and I might want to explore further. That, in my opinion, is the whole point of keeping a sketchbook. I’m curious, do you keep a sketchbook or other form of (daily) art practice? What motivates you to make art and what do you gain from it?
