It’s hard to stay away from the garden this time of year. Irises and roses are blooming, and last weekend we visited an enormous herb and plant festival in Asheville, returning with all kinds of new herbs, hot peppers, fruiting vines, and more.

I’m going to direct most of my posts over the next few months to gardens as instruments of hospitality, and I want to hear from you: what do you want to know?
