Saturday 6/20: Beta Fund X Antler Physical AI Hackathon
Build your Physical AI and win a cash prize from Beta Fund and a residency program opportunity from Antler
Moderating the Agent Forge AI Hackathon in Sunnyvale this weekend reinforced how rapidly autonomous workflows are transitioning from local prototypes to production-grade infrastructure. We challenged builders to deploy cloud-ready agents in a single day, and the cohort delivered seven high-signal projects aimed at concrete GTM and operational bottlenecks. The field included Source Shield, an intelligence platform using specialized agents to map hardware supply chain vulnerabilities against real-time geopolitical choke points. We also evaluated Entrepreneur 6, an automated B2B SaaS procurement engine that extracts gated pricing and negotiates contracts, and Agent Gen, an autonomous job application pipeline that matches skills to market demand and dispatches tailored outreach. Additionally, the event featured Mom’s Lab, an automated incubator generating e-commerce storefronts and legal compliance for non-technical founders, alongside an agentic negotiator designed to autonomously haggle on platforms like Facebook Marketplace.
The execution velocity was exceptional, with three teams securing the top cash prizes for floorboarding the development of live, market-ready solutions. Shadowbuy took first place and the $500 prize for an automated developer triage tool that monitors customer Slack channels, isolates legitimate bug reports, reproduces the errors in-browser, and pushes corrective PRs without human intervention. Goti secured second place and $300 for their highly pragmatic autonomous workflows, while SafeCall earned third place and $200 for engineering a localized financial shield that intercepts inbound communications to protect elderly consumers from social engineering and unauthorized transfers.
