We’re excited to announce Seniors on the Move will be hosting The Grand Parade in the City of Vancouver in collaboration with Blue Sea Foundation! This national fundraising walk celebrates and supports aging Canadians and the families who care for them, bringing communities together to walk, connect, and raise meaningful support for seniors locally and across the country. Save the date and join us at the Holy Trinity Anglican Church in Kitsilano on Saturday, September 20th, from 10:00 AM to 1:30 PM.

🏆 Organizational Champion: Vancouver Coastal Health takes home the top spot with an impressive 208,175 total walking minutes.
🏫 School Spotlight: Lord Kelvin Elementary logged the most walking minutes of any elementary school, with 2,280 total minutes, what an inspiring effort by our youngest walkers!
👟 Star Walker: Our top individual participant, Jolene, went above and beyond, walking 13,404 total minutes, 1,942 more than last year’s top participant! Talk about setting the pace!
Whether you walked a few minutes or a few thousand, every step made a difference. From all of us at BEST, a huge heartfelt thank you to every participant, partner, and supporter who helped make this challenge such a success. Your passion for sustainable transportation, active living, and building a stronger community is what keeps our region healthy, connected, and moving forward.
