Trump or Putin?

It is time for all Europeans to be given a sharp jolt of Realpolitik by President Trump that Europe as a whole is a powerless empty posturing entity of thirty-two states without a common army or common language.

The EU is nothing more than a protectionist trade bloc with little means of military resistance against a major nuclear power without reliance on a NATO almost wholly reliant on the US. Not to consider that

US policy might change over 80 years since WW2 is a grievous error or poor European leadership. Even in WW2 it took the US two years to enter the war following on Pearl Harbour. Why now several generations on should Americans rally to save Europeans once again at risks to their own safety?

Europeans were fools to turn down the hand offered to them by Putin’s Russia twenty five years ago to become an EU member as a fellow European state. Now caught between two fires they need to make decisions fast. Either back Trump’s US to the hilt, including his plan to annex Greenland for the safety of the West, or soon lose all US support. Or to forgive Putin his reputed sins and welcome him back into the G8 as before, while abandoning EU’s own ill conceived plan to annex theUkraine. There is no half way house for Europe to hide in. It is burning down round its indecisive rulers ears in their inability to put out the fires of immigration and anarchy.
