Canadian pediatrician Dr. Natasha Johnson’s appointment as the new president of the Canadian Pediatric Society has alarmed three families I spoke with for a new investigation I’ve published today in The New York Sun. I hope you will take the time to read it.
Each of these families shared strikingly similar stories with me. They all had children who suffered from severe mental illness and who, after a short period of cross-sex identification during their adolescence, wound up in Dr. Johnson’s pediatric gender clinic at McMaster University in Hamilton, Ontario.
