Bending The Arc wrap-up
Today marks the end of Edition 3 of Bending The Arc – thank you for reading!
We hope you’ve been inspired by the magazine – if you’d like to submit work, read on for details of our next submissions window and for news of an online writing workshop.

· On Monday we shared an interview between the ever-brilliant Rob Hopkins and our very own Alice Willitts, imagining Cambridge in the year 2030.
· Next came fantastic flash fictions and a feature on the theme of seeds.
· Wednesday saw a review from Karen Elias of an important book, Eco-Spirituality in the 21st Century by Dana O’Driscoll and Nate Summers.
· On Thursday we shared a gorgeous short story by Ruth Rosenhek.
· We wrapped up the week with three poems from a new pamphlet by our editors, Ilse Pedler, Hilary Watson & Alice Willitts.

We also want to share news of an upcoming online thrutopia event which will be happening on 11th June as part of the York Festival of Ideas. The free event will explore the creation of a thrutopian fiction anthology called ‘How We Made It Through’, with short readings and an appearance from Rupert Read. Our goal is to showcase thrutopian writing that illuminates desirable and possible futures, to ignite readers’ imaginations and to inspire writers in all forms to explore this new genre. Please help us to spread the word!

Jon Stone is a Derbyshire-born writer, and co-editor of Sidekick Books’ 10 Poets series. Jon teaches writing at Anglia Ruskin University in Cambridge.
