What do we want to say now to the page.
I love you page.
I love how you just exist and I can choose when to come to you and speak to you.
You see me, you allow me to be myself and say everything and anything I want.
You let me rumble on and on until I find hope for myself or for someone else.
I am grateful to you for allowing me to be myself at any time and for as long as I need.
You are to me a perfect confidant, the one that never judges, the one that allows me to put it all down and look at it outside of myself, the one who lets me solve my own problems without any input or advice.
I’ve truly grown thanks to you.
I’ve learned to trust myself.
I’ve become nice to myself, and others.
I understand myself better.
I know that as long as I have you I won’t be helpless or alone.
Whether an imagined page on a screen or a real page in a note book, you are always here for me.
And you never care what I wrote, or if I erase it.
You will never tell anyone or shame me for what I myself am ashamed of.
So thank you page.
I will be back for more.
And you, the reader of this Ode, you too should let all your thoughts that are crowding and clouding your mind spill on a page, as then you will be able to recognize them for what they truly are - thoughts that come and go; thoughts we give power to and live by when really they are just sentences in our mind. Don’t be scared - the page won’t tell your secrets, so just for at least 5 minutes vomit on the page, do a proper brain dump without thinking about it, and feel the relief.
The page loves when we write because then if fulfills its purpose too.
