Backlist Book Club

We teased this in a post last week, but we’re ready to officially share the news: we’re starting a book club!

Why a backlist book club? We think these books shouldn’t fade into the background just because they’ve been around awhile, and we think bringing them back into focus for a bit is the least we can do. On the business side, it’s also worth mentioning that backlist sales are one leg of sustainable income since those expenses tend to have been recouped better than more recent titles. Here’s how the club will work:

• Backlist book club picks alternate monthly between poetry (even months)

  and prose (odd)

• Customers can buy each month’s pick for $10 + shipping (Save 40+%)

• Alternatively, there will be 3-month bundle ($25 + shipping) and 6-month bundle ($42 + free shipping: $7 a book!) options.

• Each month, we’ll have a Substack feature about that month’s pick with an interview with the author.

• Folks who buy the monthly pick or a bundle will get an exclusive Book Club discount for their next website purchase + other surprise goodies!
