Hello!

Really, I don’t understand it at all. I’ve been here almost an entire month and I still haven’t received anything in the mail - except for a postcard from E— in France. On the other hand, although N—’s family has lived on Via F— for seven years now, they still have to stop by Via T— to pick up mail that’s been sent there…

We went in and saw the house today. It has a big living/dining area with two large windows so that it is full of sunshine; one small bedroom that we’re going to make into a study, work, guest room; another bigger bedroom with a gigantic walk in closet and doors out onto the terrace; a nice bathroom with a bathtub (and an emergency cord); a small kitchen, but with counterspace, and a window that lets in light, but doesn’t actually look outside; and finally an entrance w/two cupboards that are so big you could probably make small bedrooms out of them. It’s kind of sixties, and has heavy floor to ceiling drapes that I think we’re going to pull out.
