Hey there everyone!
Last time I organized an event, I was celebrating the release of my first network feature and inviting you to a huge red carpet celebration.
Wow… how things have changed.
The world is shifting beneath our feet.
And every time I watch the news, scroll my feed, or hear another story of heartbreak, I’m reminded:
The stories we believe about ourselves, each other, and this world are shaping everything.
And right now?
Too many of those stories are rooted in fear, scarcity, division, and pain.
But I refuse to believe I was born just to survive an apocalypse.
I have to believe there’s something more.
And I know I’m not the only one.
I know I’m not the only person holding on to hope or looking for a place to put it.
We have to anchor ourselves in that truth and come together to create a new story.
We need a story that reminds us we’re connected.
One that honors what we’ve survived and the power we carry because of it.
One that calls us into love, courage, community, and hope… not in some cheesy, Instagram-quote kind of way, but in a way that changes how we show up in the world.
That’s why I started the Becoming Love Project.
Because storytelling isn’t just art; it’s power.
And when we gather people who speak the truth, hold space for healing, challenge old narratives, and dare to imagine new ones… things shift.
That’s why I’m inviting you to Becoming Love Fest.
A two-day experience where we unplug from the noise, come together on purpose… to heal, to connect, to create, and to rewrite the story we’re living in.
We’re making space for that at Becoming Love Fest.
Not just a weekend event, but a gathering on purpose.
We’ll have panels and workshops that actually go beyond surface talk real conversations about creativity, healing, leadership, love, and legacy.
We’ll create spaces for joy, connection, and yes… some much-needed soul food.
You’ll meet people who aren’t just talking about change — they’re living it.
And we’ll even gather for a collective writing, scripting, and improv session where we’ll reimagine the world together because when even two people agree, everything shifts.
And on Sunday, we’ll close with The Heart Awards; celebrating the people doing the hard, heart work of showing up in love, truth, and impact.
Because here’s the truth:
✅ We need a new story
✅ We can’t write it alone
✅ And when we gather with intention… that’s when movements start
You’ll leave this weekend with:
Real connections and community
A renewed sense of purpose and power
Tools and insights to carry into your life, work, and leadership
The reminder that you’re part of something bigger — and your story matters
🎟️ Early Bird Tickets are on sale now. Grab yours here.
We’re gathering at Eagle Rock in Atlanta and I want you there.
Grab your ticket… and share this with someone you know needs to be in the room.
This isn’t just another festival.
It’s an invitation to show up for yourself, your community, and this moment we’re living in.
If you’ve ever believed in the power of story or the power of love this is your moment.
Let’s meet in Atlanta and write what’s next.
With love, boldness, and a heart wide open,
Tamala
P.S. Nothing great is ever built alone. If you believe in this vision and want to help us bring it to life, we’re looking for sponsors, partners, and vendors who are all about building something meaningful together. Hit reply — I’d love to connect.
