MUSIC CONTENT STRATEGY!
1. Day Allocations: First set aside specific days in a month that will primarily be allocated for your creation of music. For example…4-8 days set to the weekends of the month
2. Catalog Preparation: Use those days to make multiple songs such as 8-12 total. Once created, you can schedule the releases via your distributor for about 1 release a month
3. Bulk Content: Set aside some hours or days to make…micro-content centered around your music & brand. With micro-content, you want it to ideally not take too much time to make but still provide value. From behind the scenes, to explaining lyrics, snippets, making short cover songs within your genre, Duets & so on…
4. Scheduling Content: For the content you can make in advance, use a scheduling tool to reduce time spent on sharing. You can Google ‘scheduler+your desired social media’ to find options. Metas ‘Business Suite’ has free scheduling for IG & FB. You can take a monthly Approach with your scheduling of micro-content. If you want to make more longer content for like YouTube, just make sure it’s something you can sustain.
Hope this helps, if there's something else you would like to learn let me know? I have 10+ years of music business experience.
