If we are honest with ourselves, how many of us actually feel like we’ve nailed life. I haven’t met one person. Yet we treat our kids like they can’t make a mistake, when making mistakes is how they grow. Parenting is on the job training, just like being a child. No point blaming ourselves or our kids. Blame just stops us seeing what’s important.
That’s the heart of my book. Twenty-five years of sitting with dads, written for the dad in front of me.
