Friday Favs for June 26th!

I hope you’ve had a lovely week! Things have been crazy over here in the best way! Why do kids still get colds in the middle of summer? This week, I have been prepping for our big trip to the lake for the 4th of July! We require so much stuff, but I couldn’t be more excited to get to the lake!

What a week of new releases! I am excited about all of these, but I don’t know that I have the stomach for a Lisa Jewell thriller just yet!

This week, I read Fever Dream & Kill Your Darlings! My review of Fever Dream will be out at the end of the month for B.R.A.D. Bookclub! I picked up Kill Your Darlings because it had been a while since I read a thriller, and I saw that Julia Roberts was starring in and producing an adaptation based on the book, which had me intrigued! I think calling this a murder mystery is a bit misleading, but it is told in reverse, which was unique and kept me on the edge of my seat. Find my full review here!

I just started this soccer romance, and I am totally and completely obsessed. The banter is top notch, and it’s the perfect time of year to read it with the World Cup going on!

Anthro Sale!

Stupid Prime Day

I get so overwhelmed on Prime Day, so I intentionally didn’t share anything I bought this year. But, since we’re talking about what I shopped for this week, I’ll share what I snagged during the sale because, of course, I did buy things! We head to the lake this weekend, and I got this Ninja Creami because I have dreams of making boozy soft serve for my cousins and me to try out. I saw the photo below on Instagram and haven’t stopped thinking about it since! If you have any tips, please let me know! At the end of the summer, I’ll lug it back home if we love it! Kids’ stuff:

I can admit I have gone overboard with prepping for the lake. Two of my cousins and I all had babies this year, so I got this Ergobaby bouncer during the Prime sale because I cannot imagine a day going by without my bambino in a bouncer! I also got this inflatable bed, which was recommended by my friend Lindsey Bosway, for my toddler to sleep in. I’ll report back if it works! I also got this little activity set for each kid for our road trip!
