Friday Favs for June 19th!

Are you reading something good? I am really into the B.R.A.D. I am reading. What can I say? I have a thing for cowboys!

This week I drank a great sangria, I read a cute romance, and I chased my kids around, so business as usual! I did start the Every Year After adaptation, and so far I am so-so on it! I will keep tuning in, but you know when the book you’re reading is just better than the TV show you’re watching? That’s my current situation! This reel basically sums up my opinion on the adaptation.

This week I read Perfect Fit by Clare Gilmore! This was a very sweet romance by a new-to-me author that had me a little nostalgic for my 20s and craving a trip to Austin, TX! Read my review here and shelve it on Goodreads!

I started our B.R.A.D. Bookclub pick for June, and I am having so much fun reading about a sexy cowboy starring in a version of The Bachelor!

I just had to restock my cleansing balm and was thinking about how much I love it. I use this on days when I have a lot of makeup on. Over the weekend, I slathered on a ton of foundation for a baby shower, and this stuff removed all traces of the makeup. I apply this to dry skin, rub it all over, then get my skin wet, rinse it off, and follow it up with my usual face wash.

I used to use Clinique Take the Day Off, and this is a step up in my humble opinion! I have also used the Oak Essentials version, and it’s lovely, but it’s such a small container and a million dollars!

I added this lip balm to my Farmacy order because I am a sucker for a lip treatment.

Family Photo Outfits

I booked family photos for Monday because I am an idiot! Kidding… maybe! With my first, I had newborn photos taken, and with my second, I had a family photographer take pics of all of us together! Both were great, but I really love revisiting the family photos because it was such a moment in time. I ordered everyone new outfits for the photos!

• The boys will be wearing these shorts and these shirts, one in green and one in blue!

• The bambino will be in this little outfit.

• My husband will be in this green linen shirt.

• I will either be in this white dress (I have it and love it in pink, and I thought white would be perfect for these photos) or this dress!

No one has tried any of this on yet, so hopefully it all fits!
