Last weekend, I finished Whistler by Ann Patchett, and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Ann is such a gifted storyteller, and my time with this book was far too short but satisfying. Find my review here and shelve it on Goodreads here!

I was downright overwhelmed by my TBR, so I decided to pick up a random year-old romance that I randomly found while unpacking. Set in Austin, it’s a love story between the CEO of a fashion brand and the twin brother of her BFF, who she hasn’t spoken to in years because she kissed the twin brother back in high school, the ultimate betrayal! So far I am finding it light, fun, and well done!

Father’s Day Gifts

I am shopping for Father’s Day gifts and so far I’ve landed on a replacement pair of wired Apple headphones (like the free ones that used to come with purchase) because I have stolen my husband’s and have no intention of returning them.

If you’re looking for Father’s Day Ideas….

• These are my husband’s favorite pants, and the #1 thing BR&B readers bought from all the links I shared last year 🤪. He works in tech and wears these to the office 99.5% of the time. I am contemplating the linen version for my husband for Father’s Day.

• I love my Sonos indoor/outdoor speaker. The sound quality is great, it can connect to other Sonos speakers if you have them, and it’s on sale here. Plus, I love gifts for dad that are also a gift for mom too 😊.

• I got The Rolling Stones by Bob Spitz for my dad. It just released in April, so unless your dad is really on top of the new releases, chances are he hasn’t read it! It was named a “Most Anticipated Book of 2026” by The New York Times, and the author is known for his comprehensive and entertaining biographies of Led Zeppelin, The Beatles, Julia Child, and more!

• This rain jacket is one of my husband’s favorite clothing items. He wears it when it’s raining (duh) but also just when it’s a little chilly. Looks great with business clothes.

• If your husband or dad is into golf, this needlepoint catchall tray was a hit when I got it for my husband a few years back.
