BCFG co-hosted University of Chicago economist John List for a special seminar about how field experiments have shaped high-stakes legal decisions. Drawing on his experience as an expert witness, he discussed how rigorous experimental methods can be brought into legal proceedings, and the methodological challenges of designing experiments for courtroom use.
