I don’t know who this woman is, but I usually see her on Rua da Sofia, up from the apartment. She is always in a dress, always holding a bag, and always, always, ALWAYS, screaming at someone — shop owners, the guy who sells socks and t-shirts in the alley, the “valet attendants” in the courtyard, residents, tourists, as well as other women in dresses and holding bags. It doesn’t matter. Everyone gets an argument. Once, I saw her whisper something to a guy in the Praça do Comércio. She was smiling, gently patting his chest, but then he said something to her that obviously displeased her and she started screaming at him. Last year, she screamed at Melissa for not giving her money.
Melissa screamed back.
As for the above photo, I had to pretend I was taking a picture of the church behind her because I didn’t want her screaming at me.
