Two months gone

Hello again! It's funny how after one week of attempting the 30-day writing challenge I just stopped posting at all. I really hated writing the same "I don't have anything to write today" everyday. And after that I just kinda left writing aside. Still unemployed, and honestly just lost. I don't know what to do with my life. I still have money to survive for some months, but I'm completely lost…

Comfy weather

I love when it gets just a bit cold, and I can finally get comfy with some pants and a blanket, instead of sweating each 30 minutes while sitting in my desk because it's absurdely hot (that's 80% of the year where I live). Hot drinks also get a lot better, and that includes coffee! Morning coffee feels so amazing. I also prefer winter clothes more, and I don't really see any benefits when it's…

Blank

Been just really excited about the upcoming d&d session. It's been really fun creating my oc and writing how he deals with certain situations or characteristics about him. Aside from that, just really sleepy today. A really short post, but I guess it's bound to happen eventually in these post-everyday challenges. Feels a bit strange, like I'm making my blog messy. But that would entail that the…

Nowaday's game events

I don't wanna sound like an old man stuck in the past but after watching the State of Play and the Summer Games Fest I don't think I could have another take. I didn't want to play almost any of the games shown, and they all look so similar. The events really just feel like a money-centered replayfest. The games are either remasters, remakes or sequences. There were so few original ideas and…

Backrooms movie and d&d

I will not miss today's post! I actually went out today to watch the new backrooms movie with some friends. Going out itself was nice and talking to them was great as usual, the movie was alright. I enjoyed the exploration / horror part of it, but I think it kinda lost the plot towards the end. It mixed too many things and tried to be too much or too deep, and ended up not truly succeeding in any…

Gorillaz first impression

This is part of my Song Snapshots "series", which I explain better in this post It's a core memory of mine, how I was first introduced to Gorillaz. It's one of my favorite bands now, and if I'm not mistaken my first impression was when I was 8 or 9 years old. Me and my family were on vacation, sort of a countryside trip. Me and my cousins were just talking and chilling to some background music,…

Rainy afternoon

I've been missing a fellow blogger here on bear: the lamppost He used to post right after I finished brewing coffee at work, so I would start my work day by reading his post while drinking coffee. It always gave me a comfy feeling, sort of a routine-like warmth. It's been a while since he last posted, hope he's doing alright. I never got to email him, guess I just never got the urge to, I just…

An attempt

I want to try to write everyday for this month, still feeling uninspired and without ideas of what to write, so it's gonna be a challenge for sure. I've had random urges to just delete everything, I don't know why that happens when I'm not being able to write, I think it's my brain afraid of failure? So it enters this all or nothing mode, where I either write something or delete everything. Most…

These days

My days have been pretty similar. I'm close to finishing Divinity: Original Sin 2, also been watching a friend play Outer Wilds (I made him play it), always love seeing a new playthrough, since I cannot play it again. Been enjoying making coffee for me and my wife in the morning and afternoon, goes so hard with banana bread (which I also made for the first time recently! Crazy good). Hobbies have…

Uninspired writing

What to write..... I feel like I have to acknowledge that I've been writing way less. I think I'm just not feeling as inspired. When going to work I saw a lot of different people and places, each doing their own thing, each having it's own moment. Something so simple yet it made me reflect more. At home I don't have an exact inspiring view, so I guess I'm left with having to raw dog writing? In my…
