Hello! This is the first edition of my monthly newsletter. Things you can expect in these newsletters: personal musings, professional happenings, wild experiments.
New Workshop: Standing in the Storm
I’m thrilled to be offering my first workshop in September. It’s called Standing in the Storm: Using the Enneagram to Recognize Your Core Pattern.
The workshop is a distillation of potent teachings from the Enneagram and Tibetan Buddhist traditions, creating a unique approach that uses the energy of reactive emotions to deepen our understanding of how and why our most stubborn patterns operate. It’s been my experience that such an understanding creates the opportunity for freedom because it illuminates what no longer serves.
We’ll kick off Wednesday September 17, and run weekly for four weeks (90 minute sessions conducted on Zoom). To keep it intimate and ensure lively interactions, I’m capping the group at 12 participants. The suggested contribution is $160.
These practices have been enormously helpful for me and my coaching clients, and I’m excited to be sharing them with a wider audience. If the material speaks to you, I’d love to see you there.

27 Personalities in Search of Being
Last June I partnered up with an LLM to translate Claudio Naranjo’s 27 Personajes en Busca de Ser, or 27 Personalities in Search of Being. The book still needs editing, but it’s in a bit of a gray area from a copyright perspective, so for now I’m calling it “done.”
Each of the 27 chapters is written by a student of Naranjo who identifies with the given subtype. The result is an tender, immersive, kaleidoscopic account of our conditioned patterns and pathways for transformation.
What’s next? I’d love to create a spiritual successor to this project as an audio series, interviewing other people who have found the subtypes helpful and can describe their own journey through that language. If this idea – or another idea – sparks something for you, I’d love to hear about it.

I would love to hear from you!
As we’ve seen, the social media landscape is shifting; yet another tempest! One of my primary reasons for starting a newsletter is to get back in touch with the folks I care about but don’t get to see very often. I would love very much to hear from you, in whatever format works for you. I personally love a good voice note. I’m wishing you an excellent summer!
Best,
N
