If ya missed it, I dropped a long form video on YouTube this week!
Check it out, here.
Serves 4
Last night I had a dream my wife got into zyns. Totally unrelated to this recipe but I wanted to share.
For this dinner, I used fusilli giganti. Fusilli meaning spindle/spiral, giganti meaning giant. Imagine that. It feels like a relevant part of this dish but at the same time, it’s far too many words for a recipe title.
Big twisty fusilli, spicy Italian sausage, garlicky tomato sauce, fresh mozzarella, and creamy ricotta dollops hidden like mines in the Hormuz. It scratches the lasagna itch without having to architect one or make a béchamel. Just bake it until bubbly and serve it to whoever is standing around in your kitchen. Even better if you make them do your dishes.
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 shallot, diced
5 hot Italian sausage links, casings removed (you can use 1lb of ground here too)
5 cloves garlic, minced
