You stayed home.
You did not work much.
You slept later.
Maybe you watched something, ordered food, stayed on the couch, checked your phone, and let the weekend remain fairly quiet.
By Sunday evening, you expected to feel better.
But somehow you still felt tired.
Monday did not feel like a fresh beginning. It felt like another day arriving before you had properly recovered from the previous five.
This can be frustrating because, technically, you rested.
You were not running around.
Nothing especially stressful happened.
You had free time.
So why does the body still feel heavy?
Because doing less and recovering are not always the same experience.
A quiet weekend can still contain constant stimulation, unfinished stress, irregular sleep, very little movement, emotional pressure, and hours where the body is resting while the nervous system remains slightly active.
The calendar says you had two days off.
Your body may have experienced something very different.
