There are days when focus does not disappear all at once.
It leaks away slowly.
You check one thing, then another. You answer a message, remember something unfinished, open another tab, move to another task, then return to the original thing with half your attention already gone.
Nothing dramatic happened.
But now your mind feels scattered.
You sit down to work, but your attention keeps slipping. You read the same sentence more than once. You start something and quickly feel the pull toward something else. Even simple work begins to feel heavier than it should.
