I love fruit

Which is certainly true {strawberries being my favorite for those of you who are dying to know}, but today I want to write about spiritual fruit.

A while back I wrote an entry on spiritual fruit which you can read here. If you are a longtime reader then you already know that I do not like to go back and read what I wrote previously.

I like to write in the now. What’s happening now.

I can tell you what’s happening now…

Long awaited answers to prayers I’ve been praying for a long time.

Just that in itself is so satisfying. So awe inspiring. So God.

So what was I praying for?

Spiritual fruit

Galatians 5:22-23 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control; against such things there is no law.

But not just any spiritual fruit, I was praying for it in abundance. Jesus came to give me abundant life. Which is one of my favorite verses.

John 10:10 The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have life and have it abundantly.

And I’ve just felt I really don’t see the abundant fruit. I’m wanting what Jesus wants to give me.

Where is the abundant fruit God? Surely God, this is a prayer you will answer. God, you promise to answer this prayer.

1 John 5:14-15 And this is the confidence that we have toward him, that if we ask anything according to his will he hears us And if we know that he hears us in whatever we ask, we know that we have the requests that we have asked of him.

And just as I was praying last night, He did!

I was praying for my upcoming time in Ohio…God please give me…and of course there was a list that followed {you all know I love a good list}{insert smile here}.

I don’t exactly remember the list as I prayed it except that as I started naming what I’d like God to please help me with…

Next thing you know…

Many of the things on my list were God’s spiritual fruits!

Behold!

It suddenly dawned on me in the most beautiful way! I’m still in awe even today.

The abundance of spiritual fruit will be in a bountiful supply in Ohio!

God’s will is for me to be in Ohio for a period of time, I can assure you of that. God is working miracles and moving mighty mountains a plenty.

And so as I walk in His will for me, the fruit will be producing just like the Bible promises!

Please oh please! This is a monumental breakthrough for me in my walk with God!

I’m so excited! This gives me such confidence!

This gives me such JOY! Which is interestingly enough the second of the fruits of the spirit!

I’m in amazement of how God works in my life. And for any of His children, His promises stand true.

I’ve cried so many tears praying for God’s will in my life.

Honestly, I feel that’s its own entry. And a significant part of my story.
