Welcome to the seasonal letter of October.
Another month is upon us, and as always I am writing you a seasonal letter to mark this transition into the cozy and tender month of October.
In this letter you will find my thoughts on how gardening often times has a look of “properness” to it, of straight lines in the vegetable garden, of clean soil to plant in and neat flower beds that bloom extravagantly in the first year - a look I find very hard to find in my own gardening practice.
I also go into my own more wild and tender garden inspiration from the book of October, The Secret Garden by Frances Hodgson Burnett, and tell you more about my dreams for my very own 100 years old cottage garden.
