This Week: Signs to Watch:
🌡️ Panting, wings held away from body → too hot. Add shade, frozen water bottles, or a fan if you’ve got power out there. (see which breeds are best for heat)
⚡ Lethargic, standing around water → may need electrolytes. A simple sugar-and-salt water mix can help in a heat spike.
🪶 Random bald patches, less egg-laying → likely molting season starting early. Normal, but bump up protein.

🥚 Thin or soft shells → check calcium: free-choice oyster shell should always be available, especially in heat.
💧 Water disappearing fast, dirty quickly → check for algae buildup or a leak; refresh water twice a day in high heat.
