My quest for good coffee, quant surroundings and captivating views ended at UFO Cafe in Ahangama.
If you are a coffee lover just like me, this is a must-visit place. Espresso, Matcha, Cold Brews - the menu is loaded with options. I tried their Lavendar cold brew and it was absolute bliss.
The best coffee in Sri Lanka, hands down!
They also have specialized food bowls, Waffles and Toasts. I couldn’t try but have heard good things about them. Worth a try, maybe?
Timings: 7:30 am - 6:30 pm
One of the best places where I had food in Sri Lanka. Slightly on the pricier side.
The place comes with a pool access which can be availed at 1000/- LKR.
My recommendation: Try their Pizza and White-Sauce Pasta! It’s lip-smacking!
The food here is okay. But the views and vibe makes up for it. I can literally sit and chill here for hours.
Ahangama has some of the best cafes and you must have figured that out by now. If you are looking for a fun and quirky evening, look no further than Hotel De Uncle’s.
This place has a great vibe, thanks to the LIVE Karaoke sessions. As the cool wind splashes your face while you sip your beer, you will see songs dedications being made. Friend to friend. Husband to wife. Boyfriend to girlfriend. Or just random acquaintance made on a trip. The live Karaoke activity definitely adds a personal touch to the dining activity.
The staff is lovely And the food, delicious.
Do not miss this one!
While the others are on the beach side, this one is right on the beach - offering a relaxing experience. The wind and the sound of the waves
