Since we did a Computex 2026 keynote recap, I figured I would do a companion piece to the quick HPE Discover 2026 live coverage we did on STH. After a bit of time to reflect and experience more of the event, it was apparent that HPE and Dell are diverging more than converging in the era of AI. It turns out, this is a deliberate choice.
First, I wanted to recap the keynote, then go over a few of my notes from the session with Antonio Neri, who provided some context after his keynote. My reaction to the differences between HPE’s and Dell’s directions was apparently spot on.
