Fellow travelers,

You may have heard of Mt. Shasta. A very special place for many since time immemorial.

It's where I regenerated myself post-burnout in the winter of 2021

Where I did my first vision fast two summers ago

Where I’ve been participating in alternative forms of community investment #yurtlife

Where I've wandered the hills for days on end, paid regular visits to favorite trees and rocks, wept at the awe and mystery of the natural world, learned how to make fires and get into my body, fallen in love with birds, experienced jaw dropping synchronicities, and been schooled time and again to become the man I am today.

And for School of Wise Innovation, it has been the source of much vision, learning, and now gathering and renewal through an annual pilgrimage we call Wise Innovation Camp.

We return to the mountain in just two weeks! I feel so grateful to have stumbled into a context where I can offered you an exquisite introduction to this land I love, through a humble nature school that itself serves as a role model of wise innovation.

This time we’re fortunate to team up with friend and teacher Samantha Sweetwater, whose guidance supports a deep remembering of soul and revitalization of intimacy with the more-than-human world. We’ve been dreaming about doing co-creating something like this for years ✨

If you've been feeling the end-of-summer itch to get out of town and gain perspective, make a few prayers and a few friends, shed some tears, share laughter and fireside stories, hike, cold plunge, rest, resource your joy, and perhaps harvest renewed vision…

Join us for a long weekend immersed in majestic Mt. Shasta’s abundance of wildlife, creeks, meadows, forests and breath-taking views. Experiencing:

  • Real Nourishment | Silence and stillness, digital detox and reflection, cold plunge, right hemisphere activities, healthy food, star-gazing and tree climbing

  • Deep Learning | Sweat lodge, somatic practices, storytelling and practices with wisdom keepers around tending fire, aligning with natural cycles, and natural intelligence

  • Rich Relationships | Build connections across sectors and engage the big questions with kindreds who share a reverence for life, calling to create greater alignment in their work, and yearning to connect with others walking a similar path

Who’s coming? Let’s just say of the most remarkable humans I know across many sectors and walks of life. Last year we journeyed with folks working at the top of their field - from AI to finance, government to climate, mental health to nature guiding. Camp is open to anybody who resonates with the invitation, regardless of professional background or politics or stage of life.

Just a few spots left! Please reach out if you have any questions. We'll show you a great time. People left last year’s camp feeling supremely restored, re-aligned for the fall season, overjoyed at remembering love for life.

More Details & Apply

Medicine I didn’t know I needed!”

“I’ve been to similar gatherings, but none bridging nature and somatic connection with impact and innovation. Spiritual practices intersecting practical reality.”

Lifer.

🌀 At Emerge Lakefront, I've participated in week-long residences on Network Nations, Planet Health, and Wisdom Schools. Learned to play guitar and vibe code. Led my first large group Shabbat and restored a local labyrinth.

👀 I also did a second vision quest in Northern Sweden

🔥 Attended my first burn in years: The Borderland

💧 And am writing from my first dance retreat in Ibiza, centered around contact improv in water IYKYK

The KPI’s are looking really strong this year! Record number of days spent in natural water, playing music, singing, giving and receiving massage…

Looking ahead to this this Fall, I'll be continuing the pattern of bopping around the four Jewish corners of the United States: New York, Florida, SoCal, and NorCal. Before my first trip to Africa in Winter.

Love,
Andrew
