In today’s Gospel, the Pharisees ask Jesus why His disciples do not adhere to tenants of the Mosaic law. They were so focused on observing the hundreds of precepts of the law, all they could do was point out when others were not following it. The Pharisees were blind guides of the blind. Is there blindness in you? Are you doing good things for the wrong reasons? Are you bound by your blindness?
