Ordinary Abundance is an excellent anthology/documentary to what we have and why we don’t fight for… it feels like some would pull us back for their version of forward. But even that fight is a different lens than the bloody mess of some times past.
When moving to another PDS (see: AT-Protocol), noticed that there would need to be a few changes with how some networks are being utilized. So personally, a PDS puts you only in one place, when you want to be in several. Then there are networks where they try to stash you everywhere (think like #nostr) and there’s more of a sense of federation to the analogy. Things are still evolving in our…
The end of the summer will soon be here. But before then, the heat of many subtle projects picks up. The depth of getting away from work so that the end-of-year blitz take root. Or perhaps, those who never settle take inventory to what that could really mean. Perhaps, much like the initial and then later faded impressions of the Samsung Z Fold 8, there’s just seasonal variance at play. And what we…
The shape of information is changing even more than what most would imagine. We might not know what’s real or possible later if we aren’t already taking inventory… there’s more than just a map of the times we are crafting.
Orientation surfaces for thinking and learning… that’s a better explainable space for these weekly bits. And yet, it’s not even the best container for them. Perhaps, it’s doing like a friend says and taking and idea and just going hog-wild with it… because there’s something to all of this, and it’s nothing like the rest of the stream.
Not exactly cornbread salad but also not far from it either if we are looking at some of what passes as innovation. Should there be something better in the mix? Yep.
I’ve been mewing about the topic of capability architecture (see past piece here ) in part because there’s something which has been a bit more humane about this effort than simply “how do you use…” or “what’s the strategic benefit of…” This space as been about improving agency in the guise of “orientation” more than anything else. This effort specifically helps leaders recover their bearings,…
As the USA moves to celebrate its 250th on this Independence Day weekend, I’m one part reminded about how Avanceé officially kicked off five years ago this week also. There’s something to be said for starting something, being challenged for it to continue, and then figuring out what things evolve into. Relationships go thru this, so do nations, and do initiatives. I do think that this has been…
Steady week and yet there’s some new feet added to the attention span. One of the things we are working on might lend itself to a post from Microsoft’s vision from a few weeks back (and also a decade plus ago). That kind of play informs a few near-Internet things. We think 🤔
There’s conversations and conversations… many of the ones had today miss the lens which might offer a bit more clarity to what products and services are evolving towards. What’s to come of 👓 and connected experiences might very well be things we don’t have the shape yet to see.
