I’ve known Katie Couric for several years and have had the pleasure of being interviewed by her a few times. So I especially enjoyed our live talk today.
We shared why we both chose to be on Substack and spoke about the collapse of traditional gatekeepers, plus the importance of artists and journalists finding new ways to communicate without corporate interference.
I believe that independent storytelling and reporting is a form of resistance. It’s movement work.
