A recent video just surfaced showcasing a 2027 Outlaw Wild West Edition, one of the industry’s biggest, baddest, and most twisted incarnations of a motorhome. In it, we get a sneak peek of what’s in store.
The RV Shop has recently dropped a short clip on their YouTube channel that takes us on a tour of the interior of the latest floorplan from Thor Motorcoach. There are no words, no specs, and very limited views, but it’s here. Let’s see what could be in store.
The Outlaw Wild West Edition first popped up in late 2023 and from the moment it hit the ground, it stood apart from others. While it is a Class A motorhome, it’s also a toy hauler.
The 2026 Outlaw Wild West Edition 38K is arranged with a drop-down sleeping area over the cab, and as we head toward the rear, the right side has a dream dinette (modular) suitable for four hungry guests but two tired folks, and across, a modular sofa.
Beyond the dinette, we find most of the kitchen and on the other side, a fridge with a three-piece bathroom beyond it. Then there’s the bedroom and last but not least, an 8x10-foot garage with a massive rear ramp door that also doubles as a patio area.
This layout is also one that is heavily inclined toward outdoor living, and as such, includes an entertainment center outdoors, multiple entrances, and the ability to set up a lounge area, if the patio doesn’t cut it.
It’s all built upon a Ford F53 chassis with monstrous 7.3-liter V8 engine that spits out 355 hp and 468 lb-ft of torque, enough for a GCWR of 30,000 lbs (13,607 kg). Huge, so to speak.
Once all the creature comforts and life-giving systems were added, we were looking at a machine carrying an MSRP of $265,300 (€227,800).
The clip released by The RV Shop doesn’t look any different, with the host taking us through a unit that looks precisely the same, at least, in terms of layout and spaces we find and where.
This means that no significant changes appear to be in store for the new year, but Thor Motorcoach hasn’t yet updated its website with details on the new unit. Until those are available, we won’t know for sure. We’ll keep you updated.
If no major changes are to be implemented, we can also look forward to similar pricing, assuming raw materials and systems inside are left untouched. The chances of this are rather high as there have been countless motorhomes that go unchanged for years.
The 2027 Outlaw Wild West 38K may very well be one of them. Be sure to check out the clip below and compare it with the images in the gallery; the latter are of the 2026 model year.
