Hever Castle is a moated castle in west Kent, England, which was owned by the Boleyn family in the 16th century and was where Anne Boleyn, the second wife of King Henry VIII, grew up. After many changes of ownership, it was bought by William Waldorf Astor in 1903 and remained with that family (also associated with Cliveden; I have two sets of pictures taken there on this site) until the 1980s. It is a grade 1 listed building and is open to the public for most if not all of the year.
