Even though I started my Substack adventure 6 years ago I have not been consistent or very organized in my posting … so TODAY I am relaunching my Author Adventure Newsletter in a format that I believe will be much easier for you to navigate and more beneficial to you the reader.
The focus will be Book Publishing for Profit and Legacy so if you are not serious about an Author Career or Book Publishing Business then YOU PROBABLY WANT TO UNSUBSCRIBE! Just click the button at the bottom of the page and you won’t be getting these emails from me any more. If you just want to write there are a number of other substacks that just concentrate on writing.
With a redesigned look and color-coded sections based on my proprietary 5 Secrets to Publishing Success (Writing, Publishing, Launching, Marketing, and Distribution), along with Mindset, Bonus Technology and Guest Authors, readers can find what they need fast.
You will see those headings in the Menu Bar at the top of the page and when you scroll down the page you can immediately go to the area that is most pressing for you instead of having to scroll through all the posts to find the ones for example on Publishing or Marketing, if that is the stage you are at in your Author Adventure.
I hope if you are serious about writing and publishing a best-selling book, that you will continue or join our community (free, paid or founder), as I have some awesome things planned for you. Please feel free to share this article with others you know who desire to publish.

As you will see, I still have some challenges with the color-coded graphics which I will eventually solve, but I believe you will get the idea. I set an intention to Relaunch on August 2, 2026 so I am keeping that commitment to myself and to you the reader.
Action over perfection.
I also hope you will be inspired to act if you have been waiting on the perfect time to launch your own project. The perfect time does not exist – just the time you choose or the commitment you make – which should be today, now or soon!
I will be posting consistently each week on Sundays (a 5 Secret Strategy) and Thursdays (an Author Interview) then hosting Live conversations on Tuesdays for paid and founding members. I will also be sharing checklists, worksheets, scripts and more.
I have restructured the Free, Paid and Founder benefits to reflect these new and exciting opportunities and I look forward to seeing you on the inside if you decide the time is right to invest in yourself. You will see me on Tuesday for the Ask Liz Q&A Zoom at 4 pm cst, if you join as a paid or founding member, otherwise you will hear from me again on Thursday.
