It’s been a busy couple of months, but I’m pleased to say that my next Rose City Roasters book—the last in the series, in fact—is finally finished.
I’ll have more info about ARC reading in the upcoming month, so stay tuned. 💖🥰 In the meantime, here are a few fun updates from the Kelly-verse.
After two years of entering the ticket lottery, I finally got tickets to see the Savannah Bananas in Eugene, Oregon.
College football fans will know, that’s Duck Country. And you better believe we packed that stadium—all 60,000 of us.
If you’re unfamiliar with the Bananas, think of them as the “Harlem Globetrotters of baseball.” They combine competitive play with viral TikTok dances, comedic skits, and fan-first entertainment.
Even better? You can stream their past games on Disney+ and YouTube, including the game we attended on Sunday, June 28th. Maybe if you look really really closely, you’ll be able to find us on the third base line.

It’s called Serving Bunt, and it’s a teammates-to-lovers MM romance that takes place on the set of a celebrity holiday baking show. ⚾🧁

If you’ve read the previous books in my Roasters series, then you’ve already met Matty and Diaz. If not, no worries! All of my books can be read as standalones.

While I can’t speak for any other authors’ experiences with audiobook production, I can honestly say that I’ve had nothing but the princess treatment since inking my deal with Audible. And a lot of that is thanks to Sara Pagluica, the director behind my Rose City Roasters adaptations.
From the very beginning, Sara has not only embraced but encouraged the diversity in my baseball romance series.
She has prioritized queer and neurodivergent voice artists, and most notably, cast a deaf narrator, J.J. Jones, to play Bennett, the male lead in my latest release, Catch Got Your Tongue.
Why is this so important? When we prioritize accessibility in production, we expand whose voices shape the future of audio storytelling. 💜

A few years ago, I signed up for Trusted Housesitters—partly for the excuse to cuddle animals, but mostly because traveling is expensive. My current sit in Boise, Idaho comes with a few extra incentives…
First, it’s a new state to cross off my list. I’ve been living in Portland for nearly five years, so the fact that I haven’t visited Idaho before now is wild.
Second, the Boise Potato Trail.
There, I said it. I came to eat potatoes.
My housemates, Finn (orange) and George (gray/black) also make great company. And check out their catio!
